Origin and Cause Investigation

Use expertise and NFPA 921 guidelines to attempt to systematically determine where and how a fire started.

Vehicle Fire Investigation

Offering specific expertise in the investigation of fire related issues involving autos, trucks, farm equipment, heavy equipment and recreational vehicles.

Expert Consultation

Offering expert opinions on electrical fire issues based on a combination of education, training, experience, and testing.

Litigation Support

Offering litigation support based on experience derived from testimony given in over 200 depositions and trials.

Case Review

Review of specific case documentation to form expert opinions for manufacturers, insurance companies and governmental agencies. This can include review of expert reports and depositions, photographs, technical research and product testing.

Electrical Evaluations

Technical analysis of fire damaged products including on-site x-ray capabilities and facilities for destructive examinations; also offering further testing of exemplar units.

Photography

Using state of the art photographic equipment to document scenes, evidence and products. Offering in-house capabilities for microscopic photographs.

Simulated Burn Tests

Capability and experience to develop and build actual burn scenarios for testing products and theories.

Temperature Testing

Equipment and experience to develop tests to measure temperature of electrical components under various conditions.

Evidence Retrieval and Storage

Collect evidence following NFPA 921 guidelines to avoid spoliation and provide secure storage facilities.

Literature Searches

Ability to utilize on-site library as well as internet capabilities to research technical data.
